New year Message

               The year 2006 has been one of the most crucial years in the annals of our company. Modernizing the coffee factory at Porur to world-class standards, setting up a   retail distribution network and launching fresh and Alive!  Packaged filter coffee in the retail market, are major initiatives taken towards the future growth and expansion of the company. Though the year has been painstakingly tough, it was challenging and I am pretty certain that we have laid a strong foundation for a very aggressive growth from 2007 onwards.

             illy business has grown rapidly and we have been able to the streamline Soya business operation in 2006 thus leading us towards a quantum leap in the soy business from now on.

            Several course corrections were also taken during the year to improve the overall efficiency and star performers in major branches have been awarded every month to boost the morale of team.

The coffee consumption in the country is going up and our company is already regarded as the finest provider of coffee both as a beverage and as ground coffee powder. Our company is in constant touch with the Coffee Board of India, the coffee growers and coffee traders for constant up to date on the industry happenings and is well prepared and equipped to face new challenges and opportunities in the year 2007.

There has been a commendable team effort by each and every member of the FHCL team and I am sure all of you will grow in your career in this company, as we are poised for an exiting growth phase from 2007.

Let us continue the hard work, commitment and forward thinking attitude without getting complacent and   I am sure all our efforts will reap rich benefits to the company as well as to all the individuals concerned.

I take this opportunity in wishing all the members of FHCL team, the stakeholders and their families for wonderfully rewarding year 2007.
